This is one of the premier battle re-enactments of the year, and should be a not-to-miss for the 250th — even though this year is not the 250th anniversary of the battle. The press will stay home, as the Fifth Pennsylvania will need all hands attending the camp.
The historical society’s web page has any particulars you might need, such as the admission fee (they ask $15 per carload). This event is not funded by any level of government.
