This will be our first visit to this event. I recognize the names of some exhibitors in the Living History section.
I can’t avoid a comparison to a similar weekend out in Carlisle: it looks about the same size, but much more interesting! Many more things to do, once all your shopping’s done. And I suspect Kempton is the part of the country where reenactors are the least prone to attempt a French accent when pronouncing “accoutrements.”
Though the sutlers will be indoors, we may be outside with the rest of the living historians, under our new cover. We’ll be in good company.
